Customer background
Shenzhen Topway Co., ltd. is the first joint-venture enterprise in the cable TV network industry in China, mainly providing cable TV streaming services, TV value-added services and Internet access services etc...
The main goal of Topway is to make a disaster backup of 200G Ethernet business in Network operations center A and transmit it to Network operations center B with a distance of 60km.
Business challenges
Business challenge: Need stable network operation and no more than half an hour of network blackout . Also, there is high optical dissipation.
In order to provide customers with stable network services, all resources in center A need to be backuped to center B in case of emergencies and still provide customers with stable network services. Due to the large load of customers in center A, the disconnection time for installation and debugging should not exceed half an hour to avoid customer complaints.
The optical fiber link from center A to center B has high optical dissipation. Although the distance is only 60 kilometers, the optical dissipation amounts to 28dB due to multiple jumps.
Topway began to look for the qualified manufacturers to meet their expectations. They invited several manufacturers, and Sharetop's solution passed all their tests, being very consistent with the project requirements and highly recognized. Finally, Topway chose Sharetop’s products and services.
Solutions

Sharetop adopted XYT-16416 integrated transmission platform, and at the same time, configured corresponding functional board CARDS according to customer requirements, finally solved the issues of large transmission capacity and high optical dissipation.
Due to the intelligence and high speed integration of equipments, there is no need to cut off the network during the installation and debugging stage. When the business is finally switched over, the backup transmission is completed with merely 10 minutes of network interruption.
