多模光纤拉锥耦合器（680nm）
熔融拉锥光纤耦合器是将两根或多根光纤捆在一起，然后在拉锥机上熔融拉伸，并实时监控分光比的变化，分光比达到要求后结束熔融拉伸，是一类能使传输中的光信号在特殊结构耦合区发生耦合，并对进行再分配的光无源器件。
入射光功率在双锥体结构的耦合区发生功率再分配，一部分光功率从“直通臂”继续传输，另一部分由“耦合臂”传到另一路光路。传导模是两个正交的的基模(HE11)信号。传导模进入熔锥区后，纤芯变细，V值逐渐减少越来越多的光功率进入光纤包层。实际上的光功率是在由包层作为芯，纤外介质(一般是空气)作为新的包层的复合波导结构中传输的。
两光纤波导之间的耦合，在熔锥区两光纤包层合并在一起，纤芯足够逼近，形成弱耦合，相耦合的两波导中的场，各自保持了该波导独立存在时的场分布和传输系数，耦合的影响表现在场的复数振幅的沿途变化。两光纤耦合光功率分配，P1（z）=直通臂光功率；P2(z)=耦合臂光功率；Z=拉锥长度，C为耦合系数；F2=最大耦合比。
