Sharetop Strongly launched OTN Transmission Solution

Under the general trend of 5G construction, Sharetop took advantage of the trend and after years of research and development, it has launched the XYT-OTN2800 series of products and transmission solutions.

The XYT-OTN2800 series supports multi-service, high-capacity, and fully transparent transmission networking applications. It is mainly used in carrier backbone networks and data center equipment interconnections, and can also be applied to local network/metropolitan area network core layers, aggregation layers, and interfaces. Incoming layers, as well as various applications for long-haul and trunk networks. The XYT-OTN2800-X 10U device is co-networked with 5U, 2U, and 1U devices to provide users with various transmission solutions with different capacities, different transmission distances, and intelligent service applications. The application of the XYT-OTN2800 series in the network is shown in the figure below:



Sharetop 100G/200G OTN transmission solution advantages:

1. Polarization multiplexing + QPSK modulation technology

The 100G/200G line side interface of the OTN2800 uses polarization multiplexing + QPSK/QAM modulation to reduce the transmission baud rate and reduce the complexity of the 100G/200G transmission device.

2. High performance FEC error correction technology

The 100G/200G line-side interface of the OTN2800 adopts high-performance FEC error correction technology and is divided into two modes: soft decision and hard decision. It adapts to different transmission distance scenarios of the backbone network.

3. Coherent demodulation technology

The OTN2800's 100G/200G line-side interface uses coherent demodulation and reception, and the OSNR tolerance is increased by 3dB, which improves transmission performance by more than 20%.

4. ADC + DSP processing technology

The 100G/200G line-side interface of the OTN2800 uses ADC+DSP to implement CD and PMD compensation in the electrical domain, which greatly improves the dispersion tolerance and PMD tolerance, enhances fiber compatibility, and reduces the difficulty of business planning.

5. Ultra long distance transmission

The OTN2800 system's 100G/200G transmission uses PM-QPSK, QAM modulation, coherent reception, SD-FEC, DSP processing and other technologies, combined with low-noise optical amplification, remote pump amplification and other technologies to support long-term non-electrical relay distance transmission (1200 /2000 km or more) and ultra-long single span (attenuation above 44dBm) transmission, and no dispersion compensation is required.

6. Support 10G, 100G, 200G signal mixing

The OTN2800 supports simultaneous hybrid transmission of 10G signals and 100G signals on the same platform, and provides a mature hybrid network solution. Users can therefore flexibly network to achieve a smooth transition from 10G systems to 100G systems. In the design of the hybrid transmission scheme, in addition to fully considering the common problems of two rate signal transmission distances and path spacing, the channel interference problem between different modulation formats is also considered comprehensively to ensure the transmission performance of the system.
