In the first half of 2019, Sharetop received an inquiry from a certain force in China, requiring dual-link protection to automatically switch devices. After detailed communication, the optical line protection equipment OLP was supplied twice to the customer.
In the second half of the year, the customer again proposed the demand for the optical line protection equipment OLP, but unlike the previous two, in addition to the optical signal of the main service, there is a core that needs to transmit the monitoring signal through the single-fiber two-way mode. This presents a problem: due to the existence of single-fiber bidirectional monitoring light, the ordinary optical line protection equipment OLP cannot realize automatic switching. Because the main line fault causes the optical signal of the main service to be interrupted, the OLP device will always detect the monitoring light , causing the device not to switch to the standby line.
In order to meet the requirements of customers, Sharetop dispatches a special technical research and development team, communicated with customers many times, and repeatedly tested, and finally developed a special optical line protection equipment OLP that can meet customer needs.

After trial, the special optical line protection equipment OLP developed by the company for the military customers can meet the customer's requirements. When there is single-fiber bidirectional monitoring optic, when the main line fiber fails, the equipment automatically switches to the standby line for normal operation, the main line. After the fault is repaired, the device automatically returns to the main line for normal operation.
