The client is a 211 key university in Qingdao, Shandong Province, with two campuses in different districts. Now, due to teaching needs, an 80g optical transmission system needs to be built between the two campuses.
Business Challenges
1. only 2 cores of optical fiber are available in the two campuses, and the link length is about 70km. Due to serious aging, the optical fiber loss is very large;
2. there are many types of interconnected services, including voice, video, intranet, etc., which need to be physically isolated;

Solution
1. xyt-16416 active wavelength division solution is adopted, and different converters are configured to convert voice and video signals into digital optical signals for wavelength division multiplexing transmission;
2. a total of 16 wavelength division service channels are configured, with single channel transmission of 10G. 8 channels are configured to meet the customer's 80g transmission. Different services enter different wavelength division service channels, and the physical isolation between services has been achieved;
3. at the same time, one network management channel is also configured to interconnect the network management of the two devices, so as to realize remote management of the end-to-end devices;
4. optical fiber amplifiers are configured at both the transmitting and receiving ends to solve the problem of excessive optical attenuation and allow the system to have sufficient redundancy;
5. adopt different compatibility codes according to the user's switch to improve the compatibility performance.
